Being an over 65 lady taking no regular exercise, Ollie has given me the incentive to lose weight and become a fitter person. With his support, personal exercise routine and diet suggestions, I have now dropped a dress size! Probably not his best client as I often fall by the wayside! However, he’s always positive, inspirational, cheery and a joy to work with!

For me, opting for a personal trainer wasn’t just about losing weight and increasing my fitness but more about increasing my activity levels to help with the various symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis. I have all sorts of weird and definitely-not-wonderful symptoms, and I’d be lying if I said MS hadn’t changed my life, because it has in all manner of ways.

 

I’m only into my fourth week of training with Ollie, yet already after each session I feel more energised than I have in a long time (and fatigue is a big issue for me). Spasms, pain and spasticity in my legs are other regular and unwelcome companions, but again, learning specific stretches and exercises is helping, and they’re all things I can do by myself at home too. My balance and concentration issues can be challenging too, but Ollie’s still managed to incorporate various activities into our sessions, to aid them.

 

The very fact that Ollie has taken the time to discuss my specific health issues, researched into MS, and investigated the medications and drugs that I take because of it, speaks volumes about his dedication. And although it’s been a dreadful few years for me on a personal level, Ollie has given me the confidence and support to start over. The hourly sessions are fun and varied, and his expertise has given me the kick-start I desperately needed. So regardless of the reasons why; if like me, going to the gym isn’t a viable option and it’s a personal trainer you’re after, then give him a call - I’m glad I did.
