Run Together Workshop

 

Come and join an ultra runner and personal trainer for a day of running and coaching. 

The day is aimed at all levels and will give you the knowledge to progress your running further, so you can go home with the information you need to run better whether that means being faster, longer or simply happier. 

 

Regardless of ability you will be able to take part, all I ask is that you can safely run a 5km. 

 

Numbers are limited for the day to ensure that you get quality time with me as a trainer and it will also enable me to answer all of your questions throughout the day. 

 

During the day we will go through some of the following:

 

  • Benefits of running nutrition, before a race, after a race, during a race and also throughout training
  • Benefits of strength training and cross training, i.e doing something else apart from running
  • The benefits of stretching after a run and also every day
  • Running games
  • Hill work
  • Dynamic stretching
  • Technique drills

 

During the day you will also recieve a hot and cold buffet lunch put on by the YHA team, tea and coffee including herbal tea so all you will have to bring is yourself and any snacks you may like.

 

You may also want to bring a change of clothes to change at the end of the day and also some spare running clothes just in case the weather turns whilst we are out.

We are hosting our running workshop at YHA South Downs Hostel at Itford Farm, Beddingham, Lewes, East Sussex, BN8 6JS

 

As previously advised numbers are very limited so please sign up as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.
